As humans we find ourselves wanting answers, why? because we were made to to do so. Answers to existential questions, answers to how to do this or that, answers to everything we encounter in life.

As humans, how do we know if the answers we come up with are true? There must be a standard that withstands the test of time, a standard that is bullet proof to relativism and the wimbs of a time in history.

For many, trendy is taken as absolute truth but truth be told, trendy is not premanent; it’s temporal. So much so that once a challenge arises, it falls apart. Have you ever wondered why we need answers in order to function in life?

The reason behind needing to know answers is becuase we have been made to learn. Learning is an eternal quality that humans have. Whether you believe in God or not, this quality still stands. The hunger for knowing the why’s of things is there from the moment of our conception.

There is a truth that is absolute…the source of our answers matters. It matters because that source determines the outcome of the answers we seek and put into practice.

Decision Time

As human beings we all come to times in our lives that turn into decision making, from the most minute to the most existential ones. When it comes to life’s source of truth we are confronted with opinions and knowing the difference becomes crucial.

One of those truths is that once we know, we cannot not know. We may decide to ignore, procrastinate, suppress, pretend and the list goes on but we cannot cease to know. What we do with truth shapes our thought process and actions. It is amazing the responsibility that one holds when we know.

So when decision time comes, side on the real source of truth and not opinion. The impact of truth is far greater than an opinion. Opinions come and go but truth stand the test of time. Truth is timeless.
